NEW ORLEANS — Local, state, national and international first responders took part in active shooter training involving a robot.
The hands-on sessions were part of the EMS World Expo at the Morial Convention Center.
The robots, called HAL, can blink, talk, breathe and even bleed.
HAL is designed to show first responders how to quickly diagnose and treat victims using real monitoring and lifesaving equipment in various emergency situations.
