Adena gets birthing simulation

Nurses, residents, and doctors at the Adena Health System’s PACCAR Medical Education Center will have a new training tool to help them improve health care delivery in the Scioto Valley. The Victoria S2200 is a new addition to the Medical Education Center.

Medical staff will use Victoria to experience real-life situations as they train and improve vital lifesaving skills. Staff will run through a normal delivery, read vital signs and breathing sounds, monitor heart health, perform cesarean section deliveries, and apply sutures. Through simulation training, staff will be prepared to deal with any medical emergency.
